Parent Duty Rota

Playgroup

In order for the Playgroup to run smoothly and economically, it is necessary for all parents/carers to take a turn at Playgroup duty.  The number of duties per term is based upon the number of sessions your child attends each week. Most people really enjoy the experience as they get to see their child enjoying all the various activities on offer and having fun with their friends.

The duty rota is displayed in the foyer and administered by a committee member.  You can choose the dates that suit you best and signing up early in the term ensures the best choice of dates.

If, for any reason, you cannot make a duty it is up to you to find a replacement.  Please do not leave the Playgroup without cover, as we depend on the duty parent to meet our required ratio of adults to children.

On the day of your duty, you will be asked to arrive at 9.00am to help the playleaders set up the hall, and you may also be required to stay behind for ten minutes at the end to help tidy up.

Rising Fives

There is also a parent duty rota for Rising Fives, which involves arriving fifteen minutes before the end of the session to help the playleaders tidy up.
